GL events Owen Brown showcases its work at summer sporting events

Temporary structure providers GL events Owen Brown completed a number of structure projects at sports events, including the London 2012 Olympics, across the UK this summer.

Russia.Sochi.Park was a 7,700 sq m project with two temporary structures used to showcase Sochi, the host city for the Winter Olympics in 2014.

Attractions at Russia.Sochi.Park included an ice show, music and dance performances and a 4D cinema where visitors experienced a chairlift ride up the snowy Krasnodar mountains.

Also during the Olympics, Owen Brown built Russia’s Olympic House in the heart of London’s Kensington Gardens and a double deck Absolute structure at the Fish Island Riviera, featuring a beach volleyball court.

Owen Brown also completed other projects at Royal Ascot, the Epsom Derby and the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.
